#40 - Disclosure - White Noise
"White Noise" was Disclosure's breakout hit, and its accompanying video probably helped. It's simple but fun; a security guard explores an abandoned area of a city. And he's a pretty good dancer, too! Stick around for the feel-good final minute.
#39 - Busy P - This Song
This is an idea I never would have thought of; cut out sections of classic album covers and replace them with stock footage. It's fun to play "guess the album" on this video. How many can you recognize?
#38 - Shit Robot - Feels Real
Lots of mouths!
#37 - Basement Jaxx - What A Difference Your Love Makes
Filmed in Johannesburg, the largest city in South Africa, the video for Basement Jaxx's comeback single follows a duo of young men performing a type of dance called "Pantsula". Their optimism and huge smiles on their faces make this a real feel-good video.
#36 - Digitalism - A New Drug
Digitalism aim to satirize modern EDM drug / "bro" culture with this seizure-inducing, buzzword-filled video. Try not to throw up watching it.
#35 - Animal Collective - Monkey Riches
There really isn't a sane way to describe this video. All I can say is that it has an old wizard, a well, and a monster made out of ropes. What else should you expect from Animal Collective, one of the weirdest bands around?
#34 - Midnight Juggernauts - Systematic
Oh my gawsh, CATS. This video reminds me of Vitalic's "Poney Pt. 1" video. Except with cats instead of dogs.
...I have nothing else to add to this one.
#33 - Skream - Rollercoaster
Some might be bothered that Skream has abandoned dubstep and just released this disco-tastic track. Skream makes whatever genre he wants to make, dammit! The ending of this video is ridiculously cheesy and awesome and I love it.
#32 - Goldfish - One Million Views
Here we get another video that pokes fun at EDM. The "Dog Is A DJ" character is a great parody of the douchey press-play modern DJ with no actual mixing skills. Check out this making-of article from the animator for some background on how he made it.
#31 - Big Black Delta - Side Of The Road
This glitchy, futuristic video manages to make suspenders look cool. Another thing I like about is that the other videos taken from the same album follow the same theme, almost forming a plot (with the exception of the disturbing, violent video for "X22").
