The Top 55 Electronic Music Videos of 2013: #30 - #21

#30 - Dillon Francis & Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs - Without You

At first, this video seems pretty normal; a girl is laying in her bed, looking lonely. Then the infinite shirt part comes in, and it keeps getting better from there. I have to applaud the editing on this one; bravo, "Sean Fazende @ Beast".

#29 - Disclosure - When A Fire Starts To Burn

Another video from Disclosure. What starts off as a normal-looking motivational sermon quickly evolves into something awkward, creepy, and hilarious. You know shit just got real when a guy turns into a cat.

#28 - MGMT - Your Life Is A Lie

Say what you will about MGMT's latest album, but they still know how to make music videos. This one offers up plenty of surreal, unexpected images that appear in tune to the song's repetitive rhythm. And, since this is MGMT we're talking about, it's pretty trippy.

#27 - Anamanaguchi - Meow

Hot damn this song + video combo is fun. I don't think you'll find any other music video filled to the brim with as much glee as this. Anamanaguchi's "Endless Fantasy" video is worth a mention too, if only because they SENT A SLICE OF PIZZA INTO SPACE. SPACE.

#26 - Deadmau5 - Telemiscommunications

A lot of talented artists got together to make this video for Deadmau5's most mellow, out-of-the-blue song. Several visual styles are deployed in order to portray the story of a man calling his lover at a lonely airport. The transitions between styles could be better, but the concept is good enough to warrant a spot in the middle of this list.

#25 - Panteros666 - Baby F-16

Alright, this one's pretty weird. Everything about it is surreal, from the ominous men in robes, to the random bones lying about, to the terrible CGI, to the undecipherable symbols on the screen, absolutely nothing makes sense in this thing. And I love it.

#24 - Duck Sauce - It's You

The duo of A-Trak & Armand Van Helden can do no wrong. This wacky video (which the two star in as barbers) is set in a barbershop, where the patrons' hair is animated to move to the beat. It's an amusing video full of energy, especially when the party starts two minutes in.

#23 - Dillon Francis - Bootleg Fireworks (Burning Up)

Dillon Francis is the funniest DJ ever. I like to think this video is a visual recreation of his thought process.

#22 - Kavinsky - Odd Look

In this video, Kavinsky plays a fictional version of himself, a badass, undead drifter with enourmous strength and an awesome jacket. This video made me realize how much I want to see a movie made about this character, an epic 80's action flick scored by Kavinsky himself. Get on it, movie-making peoples!

#21 - Joe Goddard - She Burns

The idea behind this one is really great. It centers around a woman who is dead and is being readied for an open casket funeral; however, the woman still sings and moves in her own reality. Stick around until the ending!
