The Top 55 Electronic Music Videos of 2013: #55 - #51

#55 - Oliver - Night Is On My Mind

A weird track gets a pretty weird video. Goofy old people never cease to amuse me, especially when dancing in front of a ridiculous light & smoke machine. The night is on my mind.

#54 - Oneohtrix Point Never - Problem Areas

Not quite a video as much as a slideshow of surreal imagery. Foam instruments, chess sets, metallic fruit, VHS tapes, a "Dilbert" mug - this has no meaning. Or does it? P.S.: Oneohtrix has a NSFW video out for the song "Still Life (Betamale)". Don't watch it if you want to keep your sanity. Seriously.

#53 - Flight Facilities - Stand Still

Just in case you ignored my warnings and watched that "Still Life" video, here's something lighthearted to wash away the pain. This video for a fantastic song by Flight Facilities stars probably the coolest little kid ever, strolling through the neighborhood like a boss and checking out a group of cheerleaders. Thug life.

#52 - Boys Noize - What You Want

This is just a really great concept - a normal dude living in a town full of superheroes who get their powers from some sort of techno church. Boys Noize himself makes a cameo, can you find him? (spoilers: he's at 0:14).

#51 - High Contrast - Spectrum Analyzer

Datamoshing is one of the coolest, glitchiest visual effects to look at, and this video has a lot of it, in addition to random videogame imagery. It's all wildly appropriate for such a fun drum & bass track.
